There are many flavors of Mary Sue, as the many, many recap examples demonstrate, but overall a Mary Sue is a conventionally beautiful, wonderful, loving lady who has no bad qualities of any kind. (Obviously, since these are games produced for commercial purposes by teams of people and not one sad girl's self-insert Harry Potter fanfiction, we're going with the broader definition.)
