Holy crap, you guys, we are one year away from turning 12, which will be VGR’s…golden birthday or something. This has been a great year, because not only have there been a lot of new recaps, but Sam and I have also been planning some awesome stuff for this coming year. I won’t spoil it for you yet, and it’s totally not because this is a Larry Butz’s fake Canadian girlfriend situation. Stay tuned! And last but certainly not least, it’s time to unveil something new, that proves we haven’t just been slacking!
*drumroll*
This is mostly Sam’s project, and she’s done a great job. She has moved all of the cast pages onto the wiki, which will be their permanent home. Also, she has been working on adding a glossary of recap terms, relationships, and tropes for each recapped game (with some help from me, Ben, and Ryan). There are still some pages under construction, but there is still a lot of entertaining content to check out. Just one note — unlike other wikis, we aren’t allowing just anyone to edit at the moment. Partially because we’re control freaks and partially because there are assholes (not you guys) that would ruin things.

Suikoden 3: So many to name, but the Franz/Iku subtext was delicious!
FFX-2: A lesbian version of the pond scene and Sam’s glorious retelling of it.
Skies of Arcadia: The urge to create homoerotic subtext cannot be stifled! (Although Vyse x Drachma is nausea inducing!

I’m excited about the news. I wonder what new things you have in store for the site this year. Will we get rewarded for our putting up with Shion’s bitchy ass by finally be officially introduced to her hot brother? I hope so.

We should have more site news pretty soon. And I am in the process of replaying Xenosaga II and III to refamiliarize before recapping.
Good luck with the Xenosagas, Sam. I haven’t even played them yet, mostly due to fear and probable frustration at the battle system changes.
*grins broadly* Oooh you have NO idea how excited I am to hear that about Xenosaga II and III. There’s nothing more I love than to rage against Shion. It’s so great to find like-minded people.
You guys are seriously awesome. Been following this site since 2008, and been waiting for the Final Fantasy X-2 recap for a while and it definitely delivered! The wiki is hilarious too. This site should be way more popular than it is (although it is nice that it’s kinda niche too)!
