The name Laurel and Hardy specifically refers to a comedic duo of a skinny-prissy/fat-boisterous nature, but for simplicity's sake this section also can include any duo of characters intended solely for comic relief.

- Final Fantasy X-2: Laurel and Hardy (Logos and Ormi), Lesbianc's two goony henchmen.
- Suikoden III: Rhett and Wilder, the goofy, often out-of-their-depth duck couple.
- Xenosaga Episode II: Richard and Hermann are not exactly comic relief, but one of their mechs is skinny and the other is fat, so I'm counting it.
